Feathered hair was once the ‘in thing’ and sadly we’re seeing less of it today, which is actually quite surprising. A feathered look can be described as finely-textured layering and it can suit long, short and medium length haircuts.
Feathered looks also look great curly and straight, and it’s been sporting in the past by a wide range of inspiring female celebrities, such as the Olsen twins, Sarah Cox and Liz Mcclarnon. It is a hair style that really became popular during the 1960s and 1970s and its remained relatively popular ever since.
This is why we don’t want to see it decline, because it’s a style that can be modernised and made unique.
